ABSTRACT
Its borders are posteriorly, the transversalis fascia, reinforced medially by the conjoint tendon; anteriorly, the external oblique aponeurosis, reinforced laterally by the bres of internal oblique; the oor, the inguinal ligament; and the roof, the conjoint tendon (common tendon of the internal oblique and the transverse abdominis muscles). e pectineal ligament forms the posterior border of the femoral canal.
