CRITICAL POINTS Must Know ◾ Refractory pain, slip progression, and neurologic deficits are typical indications for surgical intervention of spondylolisthesis.
◾ Fusion with instrumentation is recommended when surgery is indicated. ◾ High-grade slips can be reduced with caution to improve both sagittal alignment and surface area for fusion.
