ABSTRACT

Ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are themost common imagingmodalities used in the evaluation of patients with suspected endometrial cancer. Most women with endometrial cancer will have surgery for staging and initial treatment, but imaging can be invaluable in the pretreatment assessment of patients with suspected endometrial cancer-first to identify patients who requiremore invasive investigations to establish the diagnosis and second to identify those patients who would not benefit from primary surgery because of the presence of extensive disease.
