ABSTRACT
The global burden of lung cancer will undergo dramatic changes in the near future, from the developed to the developing world, with an impressive contribution of the over 300 million new smokers in China, almost exclusively males. 1 War against tobacco is the answer to stop lung cancer epidemics. The identification of predisposed individuals is the next step.
