ABSTRACT

Elbow arthritis is relatively common and debilitating. Successful treatment of this condition requires a thorough understanding of the underlying pathology. Depending on the etiology and severity of the condition, the articular surface may need to be addressed to obtain a successful outcome after surgery. Interestingly, the symptoms of most patients with elbow osteoarthritis may be improved by surgical debridement of abnormal bone and capsule (1,2).
