ABSTRACT

HEAD AND NECK MASSES Fetal head and neck tumours are rare. The prognosis of these tumours largely depends on their size. If they are large they can cause compression of the trachea and neonatal airway, requiring ex-utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT) delivery. Fetal hydrops in highly vascular tumours and polyhydramnios due to poor swallowing are both associated with poorer outcomes.
