ABSTRACT
Initially, we provide a brief description about DHI in Section 6.2. The idea is to introduce the working methodology and salient features of this interferometric technique in a concise manner. The basic concepts of the
local polynomial phase-modeling approach are discussed in Section 6.3. Subsequently, the prominent phase estimation techniques based on this approach, such as maximum likelihood estimation (MLE; Section 6.4), cubic phase function (CPF; Section 6.5), high-order ambiguity function (HAF; Section 6.6), and phase-differencing operator (Section 6.7), are presented.
