ABSTRACT
Maritime Operations Warsash has for the last decade operated two Ship Simulators and a Manned Model Ship Handling facility. This is part of a comprehensive Simulation Centre which also includes Radar, ARPA, Machinery Space and Liquid Cargo Simulators. Serving an International Maritime Industry the facilities are primarily dedicated to the training and evaluation of sea going personnel, with a special emphasis upon "Ship Handling". As a direct result of its main role the Centre is also frequently involved in Research work and Accident Investigation.
