ABSTRACT

This book has been written to fill a void. We have found many books, articles, and resources focused on increasing the awareness of social responsibility. There are guidelines, standards, awards, Web sites, and conferences dedicated to the display of the best socially responsible practices. However, there is very little information in the way of how to become a more socially responsible organization. When it comes down to tactics, what to do, how to move to action at all levels of the organization, the body of literature comes up short. The context of this book is to fill that gap. Our goal is to give you tools to become-not just talk about becoming-socially responsible.
