ABSTRACT
The various methods for the analysis of two-dimensional slope stability problems have been discussed in Chapter 2. There are other issues in slope stability analysis that have not been well addressed in the past, and some of these important issues will be addressed here. In this chapter, only two-dimensional limit equilibrium analysis will be considered, while other methods will be discussed in the later chapters.
