ABSTRACT

Every person interacts with the process in a different, unique, and unpredictable way. How do we maintain consistency in dynamic production systems when people are in the loop?

For years, the German police hunted an unusual female serial killer. She was known only from DNA evidence collected by crime scene investigators. The suspect’s profile suggested a dangerous criminal with no consistent pattern, whose widely scattered offences ranged from burglary to the murder of police officers. At one point, a reward of €300,000 was offered for information leading to her arrest.
