ABSTRACT
Indications for radiotherapy Bone and soft tissue sarcomas are uncommon tumours (1 per cent of all cancers). More than 50 per cent arise in the extremities, 35 per cent in trunk, abdomen and retroperitoneum, and 10-15 per cent in other miscellaneous sites. Staging systems are shown in Table 36.1.
