ABSTRACT
Allergic reactions are unpredictable and may be potentially life-threatening. Prompt recognition and treatment are essential. The incidence of anaphylactic reactions is between 1:10 000 and 1:20 000 anaesthetics. The estimated mortality is 5-10%.
