ABSTRACT
The testes are the paired oval-shaped male gonads that secrete sex hormones as well as creating sperm. Each testis is surrounded by a tough white fascial coat, the tunica albuginea (1), which facilitates sperm transport by maintaining a slight positive pressure within the testis.
