ABSTRACT
Computer-assisted navigation has been one of the most striking developments in orthopaedic surgery in recent times. While joint replacement arthroplasty became popular and developed through the 1960s to 1990s, the most effective change so far in the twenty-first century seems to be the use of computer assistance in orthopaedic surgery.
