The frequent involvement of a broad range of extranodal sites in the non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) necessitates a correspondingly broad range of imaging studies, if the extent of disease at the time of diagnosis and the response to treatment are to be accurately assessed.1-4 Extranodal involvement was observed in 44 percent of NHL patients by Scutellari5 and was most prevalent in the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory sites.
