Parotid duct The location of the parotid duct, or Stensen duct, is shown in Figure 6.3. The duct lies superficial enough to be in danger from removal of deeply located lesions such as epidermoid cysts. Damage to the duct is characterised by a salivary fistula producing clear fluid days after the surgical procedure.
