ABSTRACT
According to the international evaluation index of the technical exploitation of wind energy resources, within the coverage areas where annual average wind power density up to 300 W/m2, it is assumed that wind energy resources in China are abundant. This result has been evaluated considering restriction factors of natural geography, basic national policy towards wind power development and excluding areas where installed capacity is less than 1.5 MW/km2.
