ABSTRACT

Hypericum – tree, shrub, rarely herbaceous plants. Various species of the genus Hypericum have used as a tool for the treatment of ulcers, burns, wounds, abdominal pain and bacterial diseases since ancient times. In recent in clinical trials have been used to treat depression and viral diseases. Antidepressant activity due to the presence hypericins, hyperphorins and fl avonoids. Types of Hypericum maculatum Crantz., H. perforatum L. are several pharmacopoeias as components of the drug Herba Hyperici, however, little attention was paid to the secondary metabolites and their dynamics. Despite this, many authors found that plants H. maculatum synthesize and accumulate hypericin and fl avonoids, in amounts similar that found in H. perforatum. In vitro culture was used for the reproduction of Hypericum L, the views of scientists should focus on the reproduction of H. perforatum L. Recently the method of an induction of indirect regeneration Hypericum triquetrifolium Tur. has been described Ref. [2]. In the given research сallus was induced from cotyledon explants of 35 days old aseptic seedlings. Applied semisolid MS supplemented with IAA (0.5 mg l-1) combined with BAP (2 mg l-1). At level reduction cytokinins on a surface of callus developed meristemoids.
