ABSTRACT
In the preceding two chapters of this section, we have dealt with financial factors which affect the annual debt service payments, which ratepayers of water and wastewater systems ultimately wind up paying. In specific, we looked at the effect of rate on annual debt service payment in Chapter 9, and we looked at the impact of term on annual debt service payments in Chapter 10. Rate and term are two of the three mathematical variables (The third is principal.), which comprise the actual equation used to calculate annual debt service payments.
