ABSTRACT

Barbara Taylor was tasked with trying to get the two fields that Ronald Weinberg, vice president of Sales, had requested so that we could track our losing proposals’ rating and comments.

“We are the most bureaucratic, constipated, and slow company I have ever seen.” Barbara is venting after multiple attempts to raise the priority level for this request with the support organization. “What’s our governance structure for this program, why can’t Ronald and our great PMO (Project Management Office) director, Arthur Russel, sort this out? Why am I having to break my head with these managers, trying to tell them this came from the steering committee?”
