On the other hand, the evaluation of a technology solution is often considered sufcient if performed based on the solution’s individual merits, without proper regard for its system team. The proper timing for the innovation is considered on the basis of calendar time (a measure of our everyday reality that reects Moon phases or the Earth’s rotation cycle around the Sun). But unless the proposed solution deals with space travel, agriculture, or other season-related issues, innovation timing has nothing to do with astronomy.* Crucially, the Tech Battle technique considers the timing issue as a function of the relationship between system elements and system constraints.
