One of the most common questions relates to “just making this picture smaller,” and usually the person asking doesn’t realize that there are different interpretations of this question (Figure 4.1): Do you mean you need the file size to be smaller? Or do you mean that you want the dimensions to be smaller? Do both apply? Luckily, it’s easy to address both.
