ABSTRACT
Most scientific journals have their own requirements for the image files they accept for publication. These are usually mentioned in the instructions for the authors. Typically, the journals accept images in at least TIFF or PDF format, but not universally all journals do so. In addition, they might have requirements for the color model used for the images and they might limit the resolution of the image.
