ABSTRACT
The Elliott TA-100 is a natural gas microturbine (MT) with a rated power of 100 kW. It was initially manufactured by Elliott Energy Systems and at present is manufactured by Capstone.
As with the previously described Capstone MTs, the Elliott turbogenerator needs compressed gas due to the fact that in the majority of locations (especially urban areas) in which this equipment is deployed, gas pressure is very low, being valued at approximately 0.2-0.3 psig (see Chapter 2).
