ABSTRACT
One of the major advantages that characterizes microturbines (MTs) run on natural gas is flexibility. This means that they can be deployed in very different situations: either only for electrical energy production or in CHP (combined heat and power) and CCHP (combined cooling, heating, and power) applications. For a better understanding of the real behavior of a natural gas MT, several case studies from various countries have been selected.
