Biomedical Informatics (BMI) lies at the intersection of information technology (IT) and healthcare/ medicine. Integrating complex data, linking medical professionals and patients, staying abreast of the lightning changes in both fields, and providing real-time secure data make this field simultaneously exciting and challenging.
