ABSTRACT
In drug combination research, the primary goal is to assess whether drugs used in combination produce synergistic effect. Over the past decades, many statistical methods have been developed. This chapter provides an introduction to methods used for drug synergy assessment. Also discussed in the chapter is a novel Bayesian method for drug additivity evaluation based on monotherapy data.
