ABSTRACT
Dr. Jayaraman kandasamy has completed Master of Engineering (Aeronautical), at Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai, India. He obtained his doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, in the field of nano-particles production and characterization and its application in aerospace propulsion. He was selected for Sandwich Postdoctoral Fellowship from Science Technology and Serivce, Embassy of France, New Delhi, India. He performed the postdoctoral fellowship research at Institut de Combustion Aérothermique Réactivité et Environnement, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France. He has published five international journal papers in the field of nano-particle production, characterization, combustion, and propulsion applications. He has presented nine international conference papers, which includes USA (AIAA) and China (International Symposium on Combustion). Now, he is the senior postdoctoral researcher at ICARE, France, for working the “Optimizing gasification of high-ash content coals for electricity generation” an Indo European collaborative project under seventh framework programme of European Union.
