ABSTRACT

Hydrogen is a promising energy vector to be used to replace or complement the current energy model based on fossil fuels [1]. It is nonpolluting if it is obtained from renewable sources, and it can be easily and efciently transformed into energy both chemically and electrochemically [2-4]. In this sense, the most promising technologies to obtain energy are based on fuel cells, with the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) standing out.
