ABSTRACT
Disasters can be naturally occurring or human-induced. Human-induced disasters could be intentional such as an act of sabotage or terrorism or unintentional, that is, accidental, such as a hazardous spill or a dam break. Disasters may encompass more than weather. They may involve cyberthreats or take on other human-induced manifestations such as subversion, vandalism, or theft.
