ABSTRACT

In general, the advances of the last several decades on semiconductor-based electronics circuits have been the result of many factors such as better materials processing and synthesis methods, better design and modeling tools, and maintaining pace and compliance with the Moore’s Law [2]. According to Moore’s Law, the number of transistors on a chip roughly doubles every two years. As a result the device scale progressively gets smaller and maintaining this pace through conventional approaches continues to become harder. Therefore, a new dimensional realm is desired to continue advancements in the electronic device technology. Nanotechnology offers such a realm. There are several building blocks upon which the new nanoelectronic components and devices could be developed, the one most studied being CNTs.
