ABSTRACT
The NMR spectrometer used to acquire all of the data in this book is a Varian Unity Inova 500 MHz instrument housed in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hawaii Manoa. Originally installed in 1989 (it was a General Electric GN Omega 500 back then), the instrument was upgraded in 2000 with a Varian Unity Inova console and is controlled by VNMRJ software version 4.2 running on Red Hat Linux 6.3.
