ABSTRACT

In the two phases flow is extremely important to the concept of volume concentration. This is the relative volume fraction of one phase in the volume of the pipe [1]. Such an environment typical fluid is a high density and little compressibility. This property contributes to the creation of various forms of transient conditions [2-3]. Figure 1 shows an experimental setup, which investigated the formation of different modes of fluid flow with gas bubbles and steam. The experimental results show that the bubble flow usually occurs at low concentrations of vapor. It includes three main types of flow regimes in microgravity bubble, slug and an annular (Fig. 2).
