ABSTRACT
A key emerging technology is digital libraries and Internet database management.17 Data on the Internet, also known as the world wide web (WWW), has to be effectively managed. Consequently, this data has to be mined to obtain patterns and trends. This chapter describes some of the issues on Internet data management and mining. This topic is also called web data mining.
