ABSTRACT
Engineering economics is often taught as a semester-long course. The presentation in this chapter is not meant to be a substitute for such a course. It is, however, a summary of the salient features of engineering economic analysis. For more in-depth coverage of these topics and others not included in this chapter, the reader is encouraged to consult one of several excellent references on this subject.
