TIP: Split-thickness skin grafts, if necessary, should be placed as sheet grafts rather than as meshed grafts to achieve better cosmesis and less secondary contraction.
• Glabrous grafts will slough their thick stratum corneum after 1-2 weeks. This will regrow.
