27.1 INTRODUCTION
Syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene is a photodegradable polymer with molecular irregularities-double bonds in its polymeric backbone. Studies have
shown a 95% property loss after photodegradable materials have been exposed to direct sunlight over a year.
