ABSTRACT
Flow charts and networks are graphic descriptions produced from the analysis of a system which can be used to describe tasks within a system. Many charting and network techniques have been developed since process charts were first publish ed (Gilbreth and Gilbreth, 1 92 1 ) , and this section can only present a selection of the more useful and influential methods available for use in process control analyses.
