ABSTRACT
Precipitation is a dynamic process. It has both spatial and temporal variation. Not only does it vary from one location to another, but at a given location, rainfall also has a varied pattern. It can fall at a faster rate at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of storm duration. A rain storm can also have more than one maximum or minimum. The falling rate of rain with time is called rainfall intensity.
