ABSTRACT

We have shown that brain membrane fluidity alterations play important role in the development of the Alzheimer’s-like disease [1], and these changes must be took into account during diagnostic and therapy of the dementia. The main problem is the impossibility to use pieces of human brain. In this case the most favorable body tissue is the blood, which contact with all other tissues. Therefore, it is important to study erythrocyte membrane structure alterations during Alzheimer’s-like disease development.
