ABSTRACT
Leiomyomas are benign dermal tumors that are subclassified into three categories according to their location. Piloleiomyomas arise from the erector pili muscles; genital leiomyomas arise in the dartos, vulvar, or mammillary smooth muscles; and angioleiomyomas arise in the smooth muscle of blood vessel walls.
