ABSTRACT
Carbon forms bonds to many metals to yield molecules that contain a C-M unit, where M is the metal. e more common metals include lithium, magnesium, and copper, and organometallic compounds based on those metals are introduced in this chapter. Other organometallic compounds will be introduced as they are required.
