ABSTRACT
In this chapter, thermodynamic processes involving mixtures are discussed with emphasis on how mixtures change the operation of equipment as compared to pure fluids. As shown in Section 3.2.1, one of the important changes is the introduction of a temperature glide, that is, nonisothermal evaporation, even though the pressure is constant.
