ABSTRACT
By the beginning of 1990, the coal industry had acquired a certain amount of experience in environmental protection and pollution prevention. Large-scale investigations and experimental work were carried out in this area, and all findings and developments were used successfully in the planning of coal mines, their construction and operation.
