ABSTRACT
Since Mg12 has a similar vapour pressure variation rate as that of rare-earth halides when temperature changes. MgI2 partial pressure will drop under dimming conditions proportionally to that of the other rare-earth halides. This leads to a white light radiation under dimming rather than the greenish hue of
the lamps with T11 in the lamp fill.
