ABSTRACT
The pumping energy trend in scaling of this scheme to shorter wavelengths is shown in Fig.4. Here RADEX calculations for GRIP design with high-Z atomic elements shown together with older experimental results obtained previously on Nova [21 ] and COMET [22] lasers. As it follows from the calculations, with proper choosing of pumping laser and target parameters it could be possible to reach, for example, the long wavelength edge of "water window" 23-44Ã region with as little as 30-50 J of pumping energy.
