ABSTRACT

In our calculations, the R-matrix has been taken to be 4.0 atomic units, and 80 continuum orbitais have been retained for the expansion of the wavefunction for each channel angular momentum. This permits us to calculate Q over a wide range of energies below 2000 Ryd. All partial waves with angular momentum J < 60 are included to achieve convergence in Q for all transitions and at all energies. Furthermore, we are resolving resonances in a fine energy mesh in order to account for their contribution, which is often significant, particularly for forbidden transitions, and at lower temperatures. These calculations are in progress, and will take some time to complete. We hope to report our results for the collisional data in the near future.
