ABSTRACT
A broader perspective on activity includes the larger context of the many different activities in the organizational and social setting. We call these the context activities. The focus here is the relation between the different activi ties and the people involved. In this perspective, the concern is with such is sues as the usefulness and the role of the use activity in the activity context.
