Principal fisheries management regimes are: 1) the Federal Council management system (from 3 to 200 miles, EEZ) under the Sustainable Fisher-
ies Act (SFA,=M-SFCMA), 2) selected international fishery management organizations, and 3) the coordinated multi-state (Commission) system (from 0 to 3 miles, the territorial sea).
